Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni, Director General of Education,
Culture & Heritage, Youth & Sport Coordinator for
Intercultural Dialogue, Council of Europe was the iCES at EBS
London inagural Guest Lecture on "The Council of Europe White
Paper on Intercultural dialogue: The Role of Higher Education".
Gabriella Battaini-Dragoni has been the Council of
Europe’s Director General of Education, Culture and Heritage, Youth
and Sport. Since 2005, Mrs. Battaini-Dragoni is the Council of Europe’s
Coordinator for Intercultural Dialogue.
In this capacity, she has been responsible for the preparation
of the Council of Europe
“White Paper on Intercultural Dialogue”, adopted on 7 May 2008
at ministerial level, the first document of its kind at
international level. Mrs. Battaini-Dragoni is a frequently invited
guest speaker at the World Bank, UN, OECD, OSCE, and EU
meetings.
