iCES Distinguished Visiting Fellow
Ms Martina Bianchini
Ms Martina Bianchini, Vice President EU Government Affairs and
Public Policy of the Dow Chemical Company, was awarded the
title of iCES Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the recent Brussels
meeting of the European Government Business Relations
Council.
As Head of Dow’s EU Liaison Office in Brussels, Martina’s role
is to shape the EU industry strategies of Dow’s priority areas in
order to ensure the implementation of a consistent transatlantic
and global approach to future chemical policies. Prior to
joining Dow, Martina worked for 14 years at Monsanto Company on
numerous assignments in environmental, regulatory, public and
government affairs both in the USA and in Europe.

As an iCES Distinguished Visiting Fellow,
Martina is a member of the iCES Advisory Committee, is currently
writing an article on `The European Chemical Industry and
Sustainability’ for publication in Contemporary Europe,
the iCES Annual Review, and will be contributing guest
lectures to the students of the European Business School London.
Martina has also kindly agreed to host a future visit by EBS London
students to Dow and Brussels
