Disability Information
Regent's College has a full-time Disability Officer who develops
the range of disability information available to members of the
public, including prospective students. This site is therefore
being regularly updated.
Feedback on the Disability Information site is welcomed; please
contact the Disability Officer with any suggestions for
improvement.
Definition of a Disability
The Equality Act (2010), Section 6, defines ‘disability’:
‘A person has a disability if they have a physical or mental
impairment, and the impairment has a substantial and long-term
adverse effect on his or her ability to carry out normal day-to-day
activities.’
A disability will have lasted at least 12 months, or is likely
to do so.
Disabled visitors
If a disabled visitor has any accessibility queries about their visit to the
College, they are advised first to contact the department that
they are visiting. If they are unsure who to address their
query to they can contact Main Reception, who should be able to
give them the necessary contact details. Staff will liaise with the
Disability Officer, if required.
