Semester 1
Preparation for your Study Period Abroad (SPA) begins in
your first week at EBS London. During your Induction Week the
International Partnerships Office (IPO) will schedule an
SPA Information Session.
You will be provided with a detailed overview of the
programme, and will have the opportunity to meet with the IPO Study Abroad Advisors who will assist you
with your programme.
You are expected to research the different
institutions abroad in order to make an informed choice. It is
important to begin your research as soon as possible; your SPA Academic
Advisor will provide you with initial information and
direct you to the appropriate resources. We recommend you make an
appointment with your SPA Academic Advisor early in the
semester. 
We encourage all students to take an active
role in researching and selecting their preferred host institutions
for your first and second SPA. This also includes familiarising
yourself with the history, economy and culture of the
preferred destination
By week 10 of Semester 1, you are
required to submit your SPA Selection Form
to the IPO. In order of preference, the form lists the
four institutions you wish to spend your SPA.
