The Introductory Certificate in Marketing Level 3

 

This course is aimed at those who have not studied marketing previously and who want to find out more about what it encompasses.

It is appropriate for those working in a junior marketing or administrative capacity or whose work brings them into contact with marketing activities.

By the end of the course, participants will have gained a basic understanding of what marketing is as a technical discipline and its role in the modern organisation, along with how the needs of customers are satisfied.

Core Elements:

  • What is Marketing?
    Mon 6-9pm (27 Feb – 30 April 2012) Exam date: 7 May - 21 June 2012

  • Understanding Customer Relationships
    Wed 6-9pm (29 Feb  – 2 May 2012)

No previous marketing experience or qualifications are required. Practical experience in the business world is, however, desirable and beneficial for understanding/relating to course content.
