Work Experience

We believe that by combining academic and practical development, you will realise your full potential as an EBS London student.

All students on the BA (Hons) degrees are required to complete a minimum of 36 weeks of work experience throughout the duration of the courses. This total is usually divided into blocks of time between the academic semesters, and work placements can be carried out all over the world, and in more than one language.

We maintain an extensive database of key employers worldwide - allowing you a diverse choice in your selection of work placements. Our Careers and Business Relations centre is on hand to assist you throughout the whole process.

Working in real business situations before you graduate means that you are able to explore career options, test theoretical know-how, and learn the cultural conventions and sensitivities unique to each country's business practices.

It allows you to develop your linguistic skills in a real-life context, while building a valuable network of contacts in a number of key organisations within your target career markets.

Our graduates enter the employment market with a proven track record of commitment and achievement in their work placements, and a sound knowledge of how to put their skills to practical use. In many cases they have so impressed their host companies during the work placements, that they already have several job offers prior to graduation.

The pace is demanding and the challenges are real, but the rewards in terms of personal fulfilment and career opportunities are substantial. EBS London graduates are highly sought-after, and we have a consistently high graduate employment rate each year.
