Portuguese Week at Regent's College

A Festival of Gastronomy and Culture

11th - 15th May 2009 at Regent's College

Regent’s College is pleased to announce Portuguese Festival Week - a festival of gatronomy and culture.

Great Food

The brasserie will serve Portuguese food specialities each day of the week, while the Sports Bar will be serving Portuguese beers together with some Nando’s Style piri-piri chicken.

The refectory will offer Portuguese dishes, with a special themed lunch and dinners, plus a speical Portuguese take on breakfast.Portuguese Week Festival Poster

Look out too for the Fado Night with live Fado which is a traditional style of Portuguese music.

Wine Tastings

There will be wine tasting in the Brasserie, so please feel free to join us tasting some lovely Portuguese wines, including “Quinta da Aveleda” or “Esporao Reserva”.

Business Building

As well as food and wine there are other cultural and business events such as an Art Workshop in Knapp gallery. There is also the iCES & Portuguese Week Lecture - "Re-Branding a Country: The Case of Portugal" which all staff and students are invited to attend.
