New EBS Joint Masters Degree
José Maria Gallardo Varo, a recent graduate of
the EBS London MSc degree in Global Banking and Finance, is the
first student to register on a new joint Masters degree with EBS
Paris.
After completing his banking and finance postgraduate studies in
London, José Maria has decided to broaden his
qualifications and experience by undertaking the Diplôme Master 2
at EBS Paris where he will specialise in International Business and
Entrepreneurship. "The reason why I am choosing the EBS Paris
degree is to enhance my professional qualifications in business
studies and at the same time to improve my language capabilities
whilst living and studying in Paris", said José
Maria.
Study Abroad Possibilities
This new Masters degree organised jointly by EBS London and EBS
Paris offers Masters level study period abroad possibilities to
students from both schools. EBS London students such as
José Maria who have qualified with a Masters degree at
EBS London (MA, MSc, MBA) can fast-track their studies in Paris and
gain a further Masters qualification in 3 months (September –
December). EBS Paris students would complete the fifth year
of their Diplôme Master by spending a semester of study at Masters
level at EBS London.
Bilateral Agreement
The bilateral agreement reached recently between the Directors
of EBS London and EBS Paris is aimed at encouraging student
mobility between the two Schools and at maximising joint
qualifications possibilities for EBS students within the framework
of the
EBSI (European Business Schools International) network.

"A year ago, before applying for this scholarship, I never imagined what a significant impact it would make on my life. By the time I submitted my entry I had improved my knowledge of China, interviewed the former US ambassador to the EU, and enjoyed a coffee in London with an exiled high commissioner. The scholarship is an amazing opportunity for students to open their minds and experience real world initiatives."
