Every year the main objective of the event management department is to raise enough money through various events to provide a backbone for LCP's creative projects and other departments.
This year it faced a major challenge as LCP's three creative projects, 'Short-Film', 'Drama' and 'Fashion', have been complemented by a fourth area 'Art'.
Throughout the semester event management hosted various events i.e. parties, sport-tournaments and a slave auction and as well as all events including the short-film festival at the Curzon cinema & the ZiZi Gallery Art Exhibition. |
The success of this year's event management team has been mainly through their innovative approach in thinking out of the box when deciding what kind of events they would want to host. Until now (approximately 2/3 through the course) they managed to already raise approximately £2,500 of which nearly half was accounted for by the slave auction.
