Choosing Your Modules
Please
follow the guidelines below
Undergraduate Modules
Guidelines for Completing the Module Choice Form
The list of available modules will inform
you which modules are expected to run in the next semester. You can
choose modules from levels 1, 2 or 3(final
year) and either core or
elective modules.
When selecting modules use the following guidelines:
- You may register for a maximum of 4 business
modules. As well as 4 business modules you may
also register for ‘Business English for Exchange Students’ (which
carries credits of 6 or 7.5 ECTS depending on the level).
You may also, if you wish, replace one business subject with a
second foreign language module.
- English is not compulsory. Students are
admitted to EBS London on the assumption that students have an
adequate level of English. Ask your home university if they require
you to take English.
- You must specify 3 approved alternatives in
the "Alternative" section of your module choice form. If this
section is not completed your application will be
returned.
- Indicate compulsory modules. If your home
university requires you to take a particular module you must make
this clear on your form).
- Prioritise your choices. List in order of
preference the modules on the Module Choice Form.
- Check list of
available modules carefully.
Ensure you choose modules that are running during the semester you
wish to study them.
Please ensure that you get
approval from your home university for ALL modules, including the
alternative choices.
Postgraduate Modules
Guidelines for Completing the Module Choice Form:
- You may register for a maximum of 4 business
modules. Please refer to the list of available modules
to make your selection. Please note the MA in Luxury Brand
Management is not open to exchange and visiting students.
- English is not compulsory. Students are
admitted to EBS-London on the assumption that students have an
adequate level of English. English is not available at
Postgraduate level for credit, however, English support classes are
offered (please see application guide)
- You must specify 3 approved
alternatives in the "Alternative" section of your
module choice form. If this section is not completed your
application will be returned.
- Indicate clearly if a module is compulsory for
you i.e. if your home university requires you to take a particular
module you must make this clear on your form.
- Please also prioritise your choices. This
means that you must list in order of preference the modules on the
Module Choice Form.
- Our web site offers detailed Postgraduate Module Descriptions and to help
you when making your choices.
Make sure that you get
approval from your home university for ALL modules, including the
alternative choices.
Avoid Timetable
Clashes:
- Although you can choose from any of the modules please try to
structure your choices roughly by programme/pathway
as this would cut down on timetabling issues
- Avoid selecting more than one of a similar specialist module
e.g. (EMG404, INB404 and MKT404)
Important Notes
- The running of each module is dependent on sufficient numbers
applying. If not enough students request a particular module by the
deadline then that module may be cancelled
- Every effort will be made to assign you to your first choice(s)
each semester. If, however, a class is full, then you will be
assigned to your next highest choice.
- We cannot guarantee that students will be given their first
choices. Therefore please remember that you must indicate
3 approved suitable alternatives on your form. You
may be given any of these 3 modules if your first choices are not
available. It is important that they fit with your studies and have
been approved by your home university. If your form does not state
these 3 alternatives it will not be accepted and it will be
returned.
- Once you submitted your module choice, you will not be allowed
to alter your selection. It is therefore imperative that you
consider your options carefully. Only in very exceptional cases
will minor changes be made during the first week of classes.
- Please note that if you would like to withdraw from a module
this must be done within the first three weeks of classes.

"I recently began working at Goldman Sachs within the Private Wealth Management Division. I competed for this job against graduates from some of the world’s best universities, but the skills gained from my EBS London degree set me ahead of the pack."
